Is there not a Cause? 1 Sam 17:17-31, 34-36, 43-46.  1 john 4:18.   ll Chronicles Gal 6:1.  1  Thes 5:11-15
David was obedient to his father. He was quizzing his brothers about what was going on. He was offended for the God  who he knew had power. We should be offended when there is a defiance of our God. Goliath believed in his own strength. Men of the army were afraid of a big man. Their fear was a result of sin. There is no fear in love. God may take up a cause in each of our lives to bring change in our lives. What does God want? obedience in response to his love. If someone is struggling we should be willing to care and help.
